Special Education Parents

Campus Parent Ambassador Group – for parents with children in Special Education

Campus Parent Ambassador Program (CPA) is a collaborative effort between AISD’s FASST (Family and School Support Team) and SEAC (Special Education Advisory Committee). The purpose is to improve communication with parents, increase parent ARD attendance, educate and better support parents of students in special education. The trained parent volunteers (CPA) are available to facilitate information between parents and the special education staff in accordance with AISD privacy regulations and FERPA requirements. The CPAs hold meetings with parents to help answer questions and provide information on resources and services available within AISD and the community. All CPA candidates attend a training program.

We know how important it is for you to surround yourself with a great team of strong advocates and support, not only for your child, but for you. Beginning with their PPCD program, Kiker will exceed your expectations!! We would like to extend a warm greeting to you and your Kiker Comet!

Please feel free to contact us with questions at KikerCPA@gmail.com or if you are interested in attending our monthly gatherings.
