Fall Voyager for the 2019-2020 school year is full and on wait list


Voyager is an after school program run and facilitated by Kiker teachers. The program runs 2:50pm – 6:15pm* each day that AISD has a school day. Voyagers will enjoy a daily snack (provided), have supervised play, homework time, reading, computer, crafts, and learning fun with certified teachers using an enriched, hands-on curriculum. * Late pick-up after 6:15 pm is in the cafeteria or on the small playground with the site-director until 6:30pm. After 6:30pm, a late fee of $5.00/minute will occur.

The Voyager after school program is looking for the right individual to join our team. Do you like working with children ages 5-11? Can you work Monday through Friday from 2:45-5:45? If you can, you may be perfect for our program. Duties include checking in students, handing out snacks, and monitoring children at recess and in the classroom. The hourly rate is $10.00. If you are interested in more information, contact Nicole Dean at 512-228-2393. We are also accepting applications for individuals that want to be a voyager aide substitute. (Background checks will be conducted by AISD during the application process.)

Tuition 2019-2020

9 monthly payments of $250 per child attending ($240 per child for families w/multiple children attending Voyager.) 1st payment due Sept 1st. Checks made payable to Kiker Elementary. Payment is considered late after the 10th of each month and a fee of $25 will be assesed at that time.

Registration 2019-2020

Step 1: Registration forms:  Available each April, to register for the following year. A non-refundable deposit of $60.00 per family is due at the time of registration, to secure a spot for your child(ren). Note*: You will receive a receipt and a letter with next steps from Voyager when you are registered. Go to Step 2 ONLY if you received a Voyager receipt.

Step 2: Enrollment Forms: Enrollment forms are online at Please have this google form filled out by the 1st day of school. Step 3: Procedure Packets: These packets will give you information on which group your child is in, maps of room locations, guidelines for first day pick-up, etc. This information will be on the student’s desk in August on “Meet the Teacher” afternoon.
